Unfortunately, we couldn’t hold our usual celebration to appreciate the great achievements of our adult learners, but we wanted to ensure that their achievements don’t go unrecognised.

Over the past year, they have worked immensely hard to earn their qualifications and continue their studies, despite unprecedented and difficult circumstances.

There were four awards up for grabs, and the winners were:

  • Adam Rutherford, winner of the English and Maths Learner of the Year award
  • Shay Raper, winner of the Jeanette Hedley Apprentice of the Year award
  • Daniel Barber, winner of the Young Leader of the Year award
  • Antoyha Amis, winner of the Sandra Girvan Adult Learner of the Year award
