For National Apprenticeship Week 2021, we’ve had to do things a bit differently due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.  But don’t worry, we’ve still got plenty planned for you this week, including our usual Get up and Go event on Saturday the 13th of February, which we have taken online this year.

Just like every year you will be able to chat to a range of employers about the types of apprenticeships offered by their organisation, and you can see how they have adapted to remote working and how they will be able to support you as an apprentice during the pandemic. We will also have our friendly Connexions advisers on hand to answer any general questions you have if you are considering an apprenticeship.

Alongside this, we will also be using our dedicated NAW2021 page, to promote daily partner profiles from a range of local and national businesses including:

  • The NHS
  • Accenture
  • Barnardo’s
  • Lomax
  • Tyne Coast College

They will be showcasing what life is like working for them, and what opportunities are available for future apprentices.

On Tuesday, the NHS will also be hosting their own virtual apprenticeship event, so you can see opportunities available for you within the health service.
