Description
Learners wishing to enrol on this course should be able to work independently and have good communication and listening skills. If you are unable to work independently you will need to come with someone to support, you.
At Churchill Pavilion you will learn a range of skills like making bird boxes, butterfly boxes or an item which may help encourage wildlife, you will work with a local nature reserve and warden to establish where these projects will be best suited.
You will also learn to:
• Work together as a group and make group decisions
• Follow instructions
• Using Safe Working Practices and using the hand tools and cordless drill safely
• Select materials
• Minimise wastage
Activities and work will be assessed by your tutor and you will receive feedback on your progress.
