DIY and Enterprise
Description
On this course you will develop hand skills in joinery and have the opportunity to learn new skills in DIY. This part of the course can be tailored to your needs such as putting shelves up and repairing damaged woodwork.
The course will show simple things such as, which fixings to use in different surfaces, to more advanced projects such as hanging doors.
To study this course, you must have basic communication skills although there are no formal prior qualifications required. You will benefit from having some experience of using basic tools and equipment.
Assessment
Your progress achievement will be recorded and you may find you have achieved enough to gain a City and Guilds award.
Course length
Course will be delivered over six weeks and learners will attend up to one day per week.
