Description
Learners can only choose maximum of 3 courses to attend per term
learners wishing to enrol on this course should be able to work independently and have good communication and listening skills. If you are unable to work independently you will need to come with someone to support, you.
This course will give you all the skills and confidence to create a range of enterprise artifacts that could be used to raise funds for local charities throughout the year. You will work on individual and group projects.
You will develop skills in:
- Creating Posters
- Writing and Spelling and ICT
- Learning about planning an event
- Marketing and costing your items for Sale
- Money Management and Fundraising
Activities and work will be assessed by your tutor and you will receive feedback on your progress.
Course Length
33 weeks
Resources will be provided; but if you wish to bring your own that is also fine. We will host an opportunity for you to sell your crafts throughout the year and the money raised will go to a local charity.
Your tutor will discuss the progression opportunities with you.
