This qualification will be suitable for teaching staff, care staff, or anyone looking to build their knowledge of dyslexia and other learning difficulties.
This qualification aims to give learners knowledge of different specific learning difficulties, how they are diagnosed, and how individuals can be supported. The qualification can be used by a wide range of learners looking to improve their knowledge and awareness in this subject area.
Please note that whilst the course is free, there is a £50 withdrawal/non completion fee if you choose to withdraw from the course.
Assessment Awarding Body: NCFE
This is an online course. You will receive your own study pack, alongside a specialist tutor who will guide you through your studies. Your study pack includes a set of high-quality knowledge workbooks that are designed to help you learn independently through a range of reflective activities. You will also receive an online assessment account (e-assessor) where you will document your evidence.
Course Length:
10 weeks (although you can complete more quickly if you wish)
Attendance:
This course is part of our online learning offer, and you will primarily study at home. Regular drop-in workshops are available, facilitated by a specialist tutor. We encourage attendance at the drop-in sessions for support, reassurance and knowledge building.
You will receive submission dates for all units.
