Performing Arts and Wellbeing
Learners can only choose maximum of 3 courses to attend per term
learners wishing to enrol on this course should be able to work independently and have good communication and listening skills. If you are unable to work independently you will need to come with someone to support, you.
The course is designed for anyone who would like to stay fit and participate in activities that encourage wellbeing. You will develop confidence perform in our various themed activities during the academic year. The themes are always inclusive and always reflect what is going on in the world today that is related to your health and wellbeing. This will include healthy living and keeping safe. You will participate in singing, dancing, quizzes, poems, crafts, prop making and themed fundraising events.
Activities and work will be assessed by your tutor and you will receive feedback on your progress.
You may be asked to come dressed in certain colours or bring in some props from home for performances. You may also get the chance to perform in other performances with the choir.
