Web Design level 3
Description
This qualification is designed to provide learners with the knowledge, skills and understanding of web design to work in a web design team, as a freelance web designer or seek an opportunity for relevant employment.
This course focuses on five mandatory units where you will learn about:
- Understanding the web and web design
- Creating a web page using HTML
- Understanding and using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
- Understanding and using JavaScript
Understanding the fundamentals of web images and Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG)
One day per week, September – July.
This qualification is suitable for learners who are working in or would like to work in a web design role. There are no specific prior skills/knowledge a learner must have for this qualification. However, learners may find it helpful if they have already achieved a level 2 digital qualification.
Enrolment is subject to eligibility (aged 19+, living within the Northeast England region, UK residency criteria apply). This qualification is fully funded under Free Courses for Jobs for those learners earning less than 25k. Those earning above 25k can self-fund or apply for an Advanced Learner Loan to pay for the course.
