Having good, stable employment is key to better health. That’s why we have brought together all the fantastic support in one place. To make it easier for people to fulfil their aspirations.

There’s expert employment advice and support to address barriers to employment including

  • finance
  • debt
  • housing
  • physical and mental health.

We have regular sessions with employers so you can find out what they are looking for in candidates. They’ll tell you about career opportunities at their business.

We have specialist support for

  • people aged 50+
  • our social housing tenants
  • refugees and asylum seekers
  • young people
  • people with health issues
  • people with caring commitments.

Whatever your circumstances, we can help you take positive steps forward.

This service is delivered by North Tyneside Council in partnership with the NHS, Department for Work and Pensions, the community and voluntary sector and local employers and is part funded by the North of Tyne Combined Authority.
